Privacy Policy

Launchpad is run by Find Community, Inc., dba Stan ("Stan", "we", "us"). This policy covers the Launchpad site at launchpad.stan.store and the application form on it.
Stan's general Privacy Policy covers the Stan platform. This one covers Launchpad specifically, including the things that only happen here: applying, being screened, and being filmed if you take part.
What we collect
When you apply, the form asks for and stores:
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number and the country code you selected.
- How many people are on your team.
- Your social handles on the platforms you filled in.
- A link to your public post, and a link to your private founder video.
- Your answers to the confirmation questions, and your agreement to the participation terms.
What we collect automatically
Standard request information reaches our hosting provider whenever you load a page: IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you visited. We use Vercel Analytics, which reports visits in aggregate.
Why we hold it
To read your application and decide on it, to contact you about it, and to run the programme if you take part. We do not sell it.
Who else holds it
Only the services that run the site and the application:
- Supabase, which hosts the database your application is stored in.
- Vercel, which hosts and serves the site.
- Resend, if and when we send you email about your application.
- Google, if you book an interview through the calendar link we send you.
How long we keep it
Applications are kept for the duration of the programme and for a reasonable period afterwards. Write to us if you want yours deleted sooner and we will do it, unless we are required to keep it.
Your status link
When you apply you are given a link containing a random token. Anyone with that link can see the stage your application is at. It shows the stage and nothing else: not your answers, not your name, not your email. Treat it as private.
Filming
If you take part, the programme is filmed and we use the footage. What that covers, and what rights it grants, is set out in the participation terms you agree to when you apply.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal information, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. Write to us and we will act on it.
Children
Launchpad is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Where your information is held
Stan is based in the United States and your information is stored there. If you are outside the United States, the protections may differ from those where you live.

If this changes we will post the updated version on this page.
